All that I ought to have said and have not said;
All that I ought to have done and have not done;
All that I ought not to have thought and yet have thought;
All that I ought not to have spoken and yet have spoken;
All that I ought not to have done and yet have done;
For thoughts, words and works, pray I for for- giveness, and repent of with penance.

TRUTH

Truth - Absolute or Relative is within ourselves, As for within, So without and As Above, so below! There is only one Truth and that is Truth itself.

We become free by knowing the Truth, Therefore, the true freedom of the PRESS ultimately lies in projecting the Truth.

Knowing fully well that "facts are sacred", may our Journalist express this truism through the mass media and social media - radio, television, blogs and newspapers so that our society may be more enlightened.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE

I contribute to Peace when I strive to express the best of myself in my contacts with others.

I contribute to Peace when I use my intelligence and my abilities to serve the Good.

I contribute to Peace when I feel compassion toward all those who suffer.

I contribute to Peace when I look upon all men and women as my brothers and sisters, regardless of race, culture, or religion.

I contribute to Peace when I rejoice over the happiness of others and pray for their well-being.

I contribute to Peace when I listen with tolerance to opinions that differ from mine or even oppose them.

I contribute to Peace when I resort to dialogue rather than to force to settle any conflict.

I contribute to Peace when I respect Nature and preserve it for generations to come.

I contribute to Peace when I do not seek to impose my conception of God upon others.

I contribute to Peace when I make Peace the foundation of my ideals and philosophy.

An immoderate desire of riches is a poison lodged

An immoderate desire of riches is a poison lodged in the mind. It contaminates and destroys everything that was good in it. It is no sooner rooted there, than all virtue, all honesty, all natural affection, fly before the face of it.

The covetous would sell his children for gold; his parent might die ere he would open his coffer; nay, he considereth not himself in respect of it. In the search of happiness he maketh himself unhappy.

As the man who selleth his house to purchase ornaments for the embellishment of it, even so is he who giveth up peace in search of riches, in hope he may be happy in enjoying them.

Where covetousness reigneth, know that the mind is poor. Whoso accounteth not riches the principal good of man, will not throw away all other goods in the pursuit of them.
